Business Challenge

Wellspring Family Clinic is a multi-doctor family practice that had spent years earning the kind of trust most businesses can't buy: neighbors sending their parents, their children, and their coworkers there because someone they knew had a good experience. That reputation, however, lived almost entirely offline. The clinic's website was a single static page — a name, an address, and a phone number — with no doctor bios, no list of specialties, and no way for a visitor to tell which of the practice's physicians actually treated a given condition or age group. There was no appointment request form and no booking option of any kind, just an instruction to call during business hours.

That gap mattered more than word-of-mouth alone could cover. Families who had just moved into the area, or existing patients trying to find a specific kind of care quickly, increasingly searched online rather than asking a neighbor — typing things like "family doctor near me" or a specific specialty into Google. With no specialty pages and no bios to click through, Wellspring simply didn't surface next to competing clinics with fuller, more convincing online profiles. Compounding the problem, the reviews existing patients had already left were split thinly across Google, Facebook, and a couple of health directories, leaving no single credible source new patients could point to, and no consistent process in place for asking satisfied patients to leave one at all.

Strategy

The engagement was sequenced so the clinic could start capturing online demand quickly while the reputation and acquisition layers were still being built underneath it:

Phase 1 — Weeks 1–3

Website & appointment flow

Built out doctor bio pages, dedicated specialty pages, and a WhatsApp-based appointment inquiry flow that let patients request a visit without creating a patient-portal account or password.

Phase 2 — Weeks 3–7

Local SEO & reputation

Optimized the Google Business Profile, put a structured post-visit review-request flow in place, and added MedicalBusiness/Physician schema markup so search engines could correctly match each doctor to their specialties and location.

Phase 3 — Weeks 7–12

Targeted local Google Ads

Launched campaigns built around specific specialty, symptom, and "near me" search intent, with every call and WhatsApp conversion tracked back to the spend that produced it.

Execution

Website

Each physician on staff got a real bio page — credentials, focus areas, and a photo — alongside dedicated pages for each specialty, so a search for a specific condition or age group led straight to the right doctor instead of a generic homepage. Because patients were already comfortable messaging the clinic informally, the booking flow was built around a WhatsApp appointment inquiry rather than a traditional patient-portal login, letting someone request a time slot in under a minute.

Local SEO & Reputation

The Google Business Profile was rebuilt with accurate hours, verified specialties, physician names, and a steady stream of photos, and paired with a structured post-visit review-request flow so front-desk staff could prompt satisfied patients at the moment they were most likely to leave one — funneling reviews into a single, consistent profile instead of scattering them across platforms. MedicalBusiness and Physician schema markup was added sitewide to reinforce that structure for search engines.

Paid Ads

Google Ads campaigns were built around the specific combinations patients actually search — a specialty, a symptom, and "near me" — rather than broad, generic terms that mostly attract unqualified clicks. Every call and WhatsApp inquiry generated from an ad was tracked back to the exact campaign and keyword that produced it, so spend could be shifted toward the searches that were actually turning into booked appointments.

★★★★★

For years, the only way people found us was if someone they trusted told them to call. Now a new patient can read about each of our doctors, see exactly who treats what, and send us a WhatsApp message to request an appointment without ever picking up the phone. We're not reaching a different kind of patient — we're finally visible to the ones who were already looking for us.
